Ford Mustang
All the Mustang's engines were revised for 2011, and transmission options included the Getrag-Ford MT82 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. Electric power steering replaced the conventional hydraulic version. A new 3.7 L (3.72 L or 227 cu. in.) aluminum block V6 engine shaved 40 lb (18 kg) from the outgoing version. With 24 valves and Twin Independent Variable Cam Timing (TiVCT), it produced 305 hp (227 kW) and 280 lb·ft (380 N·m) of torque. GT models included a 32-valve 5.0 L engine (4.95 L or 302.15 cu. in.)
Ferrari 458 ITALIA
The 458 Italia is powered by a 4.5 L (270 cu in) V8 engine derived from a shared Ferrari/Maserati design, producing 570 PS (419 kW; 562 hp) at 9,000 rpm (redline) and 540 N·m (398 lb·ft) at 6,000 rpm with 80% torque available at 3,250 rpm. The engine features direct fuel injection, which is a first for Ferrari mid-rear engine setups in its road cars

Chevrolet Camaro Convertible
In late January 2011, the production of (est.) 600 2011 Camaro Convertibles started. The first going to Rick Hendrick via Barret-Jackson Car Auction. Convertibles had the same options as the coupe (engines, RS, SS, etc.). The Camaro Convertible features an aluminum brace over the engine assembly, and under the transmission. Due to the 2011 Fukushima earthquake, certain pigment colors were not available to make certain colors for both the coupe and convertible
Ferrari F430 Spider
The F430 features a 4.3L V8 petrol engine derived from a shared Ferrari/Maserati design. This new power plant is a significant departure for Ferrari: all previous Ferrari V8s were descendants of the Dino racing program of the 1950s. This fifty year development cycle came to an end with the entirely new 4.3L, the architecture of which is expected to replace the Dino-derived V12 in most other Ferrari cars.

2012 Ferrari 599 GTB HGTE 60F1
Exterior
The new Ferrari 599 GTB HGTE 60F1 will be produced in three different liveries for customers to choose from. The first is the 375 F1 Livery that uses the same red finish as Froilan Gonzalez’s 375 F1, combined with darker pastel tones. There is also a Ferrari 150° Italia Livery that combines the red livery used for Fernando Alonso’s Ferrari 150° Italia, with white on the lower part of the front bumpers, mudguards, bonnet, A-posts, and buttresses. There is also a tricolor on the spoiler. The last option is a Ferrari 150° Italia 2 Livery that brings back the red finish from Fernando Alonso’s ride, but only flashes white on the lower part of the bumpers. This livery also deletes the tricolor at the rear.
Regardless of the livery, the Ferrari 599 GTB HGTE 60F1 can be had with 20" diamond-finish forged wheel rims.
Interior
The interior for the new 599 GTB HGTE 60F1 was also inspired by the two legendary race cars. Europe models will get Sabelt seats, while the US will rock Recaro seating. Both versions will use an innovative technical material known as Superfabric that is usually used on Formula 1 cars. The seats are upholstered in black Alcantara and are combined with four-point safety harnesses offered in a combination of Red and Blue specified by FIA for the 2010-2011 Formula 1 Championship.
The rest of the interior will be highlighted by aluminum elements and Alutex trim on the dashboard. Both the Europe and US models will also feature the signatures of the two drivers, Froilan Gonzalez and Fernando Alonso, on the dashboard.
Engine
The only changes made for the special 599 GTB HGTE 60F1 were strictly exterior and interior, so engine specifications will still be standard. That means the special edition Ferrari will be powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine producing 612 HP at 8500 rpm that sprints the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds.
Prices
The prices for the special edition Ferrari 599 GTB HGTE 60F1 haven’t been announced just yet, but we can only imagine that it will be way out of our budget.
Competition
Since the only modifications done on the 599 GTB were aesthetic, the list of competitors for the standard model will hold true for this model as well. This list includes the Aston Martin V12 Vantage and the Audi R8 V10 GT, both of which are still less powerful than the 599. The Aston Martin model is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 producing 510 HP and the R8 is powered by a 5.2 FSI V10 that delivers 560 HP. The only thing these models have on the special edition is that both will probably be cheaper.

2011 BMW X6 with Performance Aerodynamics Kit
The BMW X6 stands out in particular through its unique sporting looks and performance, unmistakable design adding a most exclusive touch. And now the truly discerning driver is able to make the driving experience and looks of the world’s first Sports Activity Coupé even more outstanding, tailoring all the car’s features to his individual, sporting preferences.
The wide range of products from BMW Performance offers numerous options for this purpose, ensuring an even more intense experience of riving dynamics and the fascinating, aesthetic design of the BMW X6. The range of retrofittable options specially developed for BMW’s unique Sports Activity Coupé for the drivetrain, suspension, aerodynamics and cockpit is included in the broad selection of BMW Original Accessories.
BMW Performance components convey know-how from motorsport to the road, expressing a particular passion for supreme performance and characteristic design. All features in the BMW Performance product line are available individually, enabling the driver of a BMW X6, through the choice of selected components, to set clear sporting highlights in all areas he finds particularly relevant. At the same time all BMW Performance products may be combined with one another to provide a harmoniously balanced overall package.
Aerodynamics and the suspension: precise optimisation, individual style.
The sporting looks of the BMW X6 are accentuated more than ever before by the BMW Performance Aerodynamics Kit with features and elements tailored exactly in both style and function to BMW’s Sports Activity Coupé. This even includes the cameras and sensors for the Park Distance Control, Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, and the Side View driver assistance system. The BMW Performance Aerodynamics Kit is made up of the front bumper, side-sills and an insert for the rear bumper, all in special design and all finished in body colour.
The BMW Performance Aerodynamics Kit for the BMW X6 may also be supplemented by a rear spoiler, rear fins in matt black and a front grid finished in high-gloss black paint. BMW Performance light-alloy wheels in Y-spoke design further optimise the dynamic driving potential and the striking looks of the BMW X6. Reduced in weight, these cast light-alloy 12-inch wheels stand out in particular through their roll-milled rim hump and exclusive twin-tone finish with a glossy outside surface and Ferric Grey paintwork between the rims. A special production method reduces the weight of each wheel by approximately 1,500 grams compared with conventional wheels of the same size.
The reduction in unsprung masses ensured in this way has a positive effect on both the driving dynamics and steering behaviour of the BMW X6. The BMW Performance light-alloy wheels come on tyres varying in size from front to rear and featuring runflat qualities allowing the driver to continue even after a complete loss of pressure.
Rim dimensions are 10J x 21 at the front on 285/35 R21 tyres and 11.5J x 21 on 325/30 R21 tyres at the rear. BMW Performance Power Kit: even more muscle when accelerating
The BMW Performance Power Kit available as a retrofittbale option on the gasoline versions of the BMW X6 as of June 2010 increases both torque and acceleration to an even higher standard. Developed specifically for the V8 power unit in the BMW X6 xDrive50i and the straight-six in the BMW X6 xDrive35i, the Performance Power Kit significantly improves both acceleration and elasticity through a further increase in maximum output and peak torque precisely matched to the car’s power characteristics. The BMW Performance Power Kit comprises appropriate modifications to engine management with a positive effect on the development of power in both engines. The Kit was developed by BMW’s engine specialists and naturally reflects the high quality standards of the BMW Group with the increase in power and torque remaining in full compliance with all warranty rights and claims on the part of the customer.
The BMW Performance Power Kit raises maximum output of the eightcylinder with BMW TwinPower Turbo and High Precision Injection in the BMW X6 xDrive50i by 30 kW/41 hp to 330 kW/448 hp. Peak torque, in turn, is up by 50 Newton-metres/37 lb-ft to 650 Nm/479 lb-ft.The six-cylinder power unit of the BMW X6 xDrive35i equipped with Twin Turbo technology and High Precision Injection shows an increase in maximum output by 15 kW/20 hp to 240 kW/326 hp, with peak torque increasing by 50 to 450 Newton-metres/332 lb-ft. Benefiting from the BMW Performance Power Kit, both models accelerate 0.2 seconds faster from a standstill to 100 km/h, the BMW X6 xDrive50i with the BMW Performance Power Kit completing this sprint in 5.2 seconds, the BMW X6 xDrive35i in 6.5 seconds. Acceleration in gears from 80 – 120 km/h (50 – 75 mph) is 0.5 seconds faster in each model. Likewise starting in June 2010, BMW Performance also offers a sports exhaust system. Available also on the BMW X6 xDrive50i and BMW X6 xDrive35i, this option stands out clearly through its chrome-plated tailpipes, at the same time offering even lower weight and a particularly striking sound pattern together with a further reduction of exhaust counter-pressure. Cockpit: driver’s workplace like in a sports car
BMW Performance offers attractive accessories also for the car’s interior design, again raising the sporting driving experience in the BMW X6 to an even higher standard. As an example, all model variants of BMW’s Sports Activity Coupé may be equipped with a BMW Performance sports steering wheel with a flattened rim at the bottom and alcantara coating for optimum grip and a pleasant touch in all temperatures.
The driver’s workplace is further optimised in the true style of a genuine sports car by BMW Performance aluminium pedals and the BMW Performance driver’s footrest. In their technical features and design all of the BMW Performance components available in the BMW X6 comply in full with the typical style of the brand and naturally fulfil all of BMW’s supreme standards in terms of quality and safety. Accordingly, they are fully in line with all BMW warranty standards and requirements. BMW Performance accessories and features are sold and fitted by BMW Dealers and Service Partner as well as BMW Retail Outlets.

2012 Jaguar XJ Sport and Speed
Exterior
The first changes customers will receive with the new Sport and Speed packages will be aerodynamic. The vehicles were put through extreme testing in the wind tunnel for Jaguar engineers to find the best solutions for improving the cars’ performances. The new packages will both feature a new front air splitter to reduce lift, a new rear spoiler, red painted brake calipers with Jaguar script, a gloss black radiator grille with a chrome surround, and a gloss black lower grille. The rear bootlid has been extended to ensure a clean separation of air from the trailing edge of the bodywork. Both packages will also get a gloss black mesh in the side power vent, but depending on the model, will receive "Supersport" or "Supercharged" badges. The Sport and Speed pack will add 20-inch "Venom" style wheels, while the Speed Pack gets a choice between the same "Venom" wheels or 20" "Mataiva" style wheels, both with a diamond-turned sparkle silver finish.
Interior
Both the Sport and Speed Pack and the Speed Pack get interior modifications, but while the Speed Pack only gets one option, the Sport and Speed Pack is inundated with choices. The Speed Pack will only get one exclusive interior color option: Jet Black interior with Red contrast stitching. The Sport and Speed Pack, on the other hand, will get two choices: Jet Black soft grain leather seats with Ivory contrast stitching or Ivory Colored soft grain leather seats with Jet Black contrast stitching. The Sport and Speed Pack will also include a premium Suedecloth headlining in Jet or Ivory, Piano Black or an optional Carbon Fiber veneer, and bright metal pedal kit with rubber pads.
Engine
The Sport Pack can be combined with any of the 3.0 V6 petrol or naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter AJ-V8 engines, but the Sport and Speed Pack will only be available for the V8 version. Both packages will benefit from increased top speeds because of the range of aerodynamic changes done, as well as a recalibrated engine management system. The Jaguar will now be able to top out at 174 mph, instead of the standard 155 mph.
Prices
Prices for the new Sport and Speed package will be announced at a later date.
Competition
The Jaguar XJ is undoubtedly an amazing car. It looks great, has a tremendous amount of power, and everything a potential owner looks for in a car. With the new Speed and Sport packages, the XJ becomes an even more powerful competitor for models like the Mercedes S63 AMG and the Porsche Panamera Turbo.
The Mercedes S63 uses a 6.3 liter V8 engine that delivers a total of 518 HP - 8 HP more than the XJ - but it has the disadvantage of being limited to only 155 mph. The Panamera Turbo uses a 4.8 liter Turbocharged V8 engine with an output of 500 HP, amking a tad bit less powerful than the XJ.

2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee
Exterior and Interior
2007 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee
The 2012 Charger SRT8 Super Bee will be offered in either a Stinger Yellow or Pitch Black exterior paint finish combined with a unique SRT badge with a 3-D helmeted bee mascot on the new Gloss Black split cross hair grille. The models painted in Stinger Yellow will be offered with a satin black hood and black decklid stripes with a solid wide center line flanked by solid dual tracer lines. The Pitch Black version will be offered with while charcoal gray graphics on the hood and decklid. Both versions will feature "392 HEMI" badges on the front fenders and "Powered by SR" logos on both rear fenders. The car will sit on a new set of 20 x 9-inch, five-spoke cast-aluminum wheels with black painted pockets.
The new interior for the Super Bee was inspired by the racing models and features the SRT exclusive three-spoke contoured performance steering wheel and exclusive Z-stripe cloth performance seats with amped yellow and silver striping in both the front and rear.
Engine
2007 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee
The 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee will be powered by the new 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine that delivers a total of 470 HP and 470 lb-ft of toque. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph will be made in just 4 seconds; the quarter mile in the high 12-second range; and the 0-100-0 mph in less than 16 seconds. Top speed goes up to 175 mph.
Stopping power from 60-0 mph will be made in 120 feet with the use of 14.2 inch (front) and 13.8 inch (rear) vented/slotted rotors with four-piston Brembo calipers.
Prices
The Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee will be limited to only 2012 units. Customers interested will be able to place their orders at Dodge dealerships in December with the first deliveries beginning in the first quarter of 2012.
Competition
2007 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee
The Charger SRT8 Super Bee’s impressive 470 HP output allows it to be easily placed with models such as the Mercedes C63 AMG. There’s a huge difference in price - the Mercedes starts at over $100K, while the more recent Charger SRT8 Super Bees were in the $60K-$70K range - but that’s only because of the Mercedes name. The C63 AMG packs a 6.2L V8 engine producing less than the Charger: 457 HP. If customers add the AMG Performance Package then that figures jumps to 487 HP, but the price tag jumps as well.
So for about $20K-$30K less than the cost of the Mercedes, customers can get a limited edition and powerful Dodge Charger. Of course, you’ll have to be okay with sacrificing luxury and riding around in a yellow car. Decision, decisions.
